Allison Belemvire joined the PMI team of USAID/Washington in Dec 2010, where she is a Malaria Technical Advisor specializing in IRS and supply chain management. She is also the PMI country lead for Madagascar and Zimbabwe. Prior to joining the USAID team, Ms. Belemvire spent over two years with JSI on the USAID/DELIVER PROJECT, working on strengthening supply chains in various African countries. Her previous public health experience includes four years in Burkina Faso, where she spend two years as a PCV working in a rural health clinic. What she misses most about her PCV experience is sleeping outside under the stars and bucket baths. Ms. Belemvire has an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and is fluent in French, Spanish, and Moore, the local language in Burkina Faso.
