The facility maintenance staff at the U.S. Embassy in Lusaka had trainings: Facilities Lock Out/Tag Out and Health Talk on Malaria on March 19th, 2012.  The Facility Manager & Assistant Manager invited U.S. Peace Corps Malaria Coordinator, Jane Coleman, to present on malaria control in Zambia.  The presentation included prevention and treatment measures, myths surrounding malaria transmission, and what the Ministry of Health is doing to reduce malaria in Zambia.  The presentation was well received and the employees contributed interesting and difficult questions.
Emails sent by Embassy Staff, March 21st, 2012:

“Dear Jane, we are extremely happy that you were able to come do the presentation for us. It was very well orchestrated and as you’ve seen people were very interested in the topic. We received a lot positives feedback from the group. I hope the message went across and that it will be used in a good use.”
“Good Morning and  Thank You. I want  to take this opportunity to thank you for your time and such a great presentation, the guys keep on talking about it, and we are grateful for you sharing that information with us. We will definitely invite you to do your nice presentation again.”
